Activities
Day 1: Arrival in Tromsø
We meet in Tromsø and transfer to Skjervøy, your base for the week. Settle into waterfront cabins, meet the group, and prepare gear. Evening briefing on orca behavior and Arctic water safety.
Day 2: First Orca Waters
Your first day on the water. We scout for orcas following the herring schools. When we find them, we slip into the water for quiet observation. Cold, surreal, unforgettable.
Day 3-5: Deep in the Fjords
We push deeper into the fjords where orcas hunt. Witness carousel feeding—orcas working together to stun fish with their tails. Humpback whales often join the hunt.
Day 6: Humpbacks & Free Time
Morning expedition focusing on humpback whale encounters. Afternoon free for northern lights hunting, sauna sessions, or exploring Skjervøy village.
Day 7: Last day!
Early breakfast and we bring you back to Tromsø airport.

What is included?
Every Maui expedition is all-inclusive: accommodation, full board, daily ocean activities, private boat and crew, expert local guides, all equipment, airport transfers, and a Maui welcome goodie bag. Everything is taken care of — you just pack your bag.
What is NOT included?
Flights, travel insurance, and personal expenses are not included. We're happy to help with flight recommendations and travel insurance tips before your trip.
Do I need diving experience?
No. This is snorkeling-based. You'll be on the surface observing orcas from above. Basic swimming skills and comfort in open water are all you need.
How cold is the water?
Arctic cold—around 4-6°C. That's why we provide drysuits. With proper gear, you stay warm enough to spend extended time in the water.
What’s the best way to get there?
Fly into Tromsø (TOS). We handle all transfers from there to Skjervøy and back. Flight connections and logistics sent in advance.
